A few weeks ago the kids and I made breadsticks. It was a fun, messy adventure. The breadsticks were great to make with kids because the recipe is very forgiving. You can sprinkle whatever kind and however much herbs you'd like when you're making it and the finished product does not have to be uniform in order to still be appealing. Of course, there was a mess to contend with, but I can tolerate this. It was a fun experience that we'll definitely do again.
